Stamnos Vase in nerikomi stoneware
This vase is crafted using the nerikomi technique, which involves creating patterns that are structural rather than superficial, visible throughout the entire piece, including its interior.
The patterns are meticulously formed by assembling pieces of colored clay using also wild clay as stain. The repetition of modular elements generates designs that, through manipulation, transform geometric grids into fluid, dynamic forms.
